There are no age limits, but all under-18s must be accompanied by an adult. Every finisher receives a medal. The event supports two charities: Isabel Hospice and Herts & Essex Air Ambulance.
Course and facilities
The route starts and finishes within the grounds of Essendon Country Club. The course is traffic-free and clearly signposted. It is described as gently undulating with a short climb in the final 500 metres. Plenty of free parking is provided on site; participants are asked to follow onsite directions. Drinks and snacks are available to purchase from the Courtyard Kitchen before and after the run. Shower and changing facilities are available and Sunday Lunch is offered at the club.
