Event overview
The Escape to Belle Isle race takes place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, on Belle Isle in Detroit, Michigan (1 Casino Way, Detroit, MI 48224). Proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities Detroit. The event includes a Kid's Fun Run, a 2 Mile event, a 5K and a 10K. Registration is available online, by mail, or as late registration on race day. Packet pick up is handled on race day at the Belle Isle Casino next to the race start area.

- Kid's Fun Run - about 400 yards, open to ages 2-12; finishers receive t-shirts and trophies/medals.

- 5K - medals to all finishers.
- 10K - medals to all finishers.
All registered runners and walkers receive a T-shirt. Awards are given to the top female and male in the 5K and 10K. Parking for the event is in the large lot next to the Belle Isle Casino. Walkers, strollers, and dogs are allowed. The 5K and 10K have a 1.5 hour time limit. Donations may also be made directly to Ronald McDonald House Charities Detroit to support housing and services for families with hospitalized children.
