Escape to Belle Isle
The Escape to Belle Isle is an annual running event held at Belle Isle in Detroit, Michigan. The 17th edition of this race supports Ronald McDonald House Charities Detroit, an organization that provides lodging, meals, and transportation for families of children receiving medical care in the Metro Detroit area. The event is open to runners and walkers, and participants are permitted to bring strollers and dogs.
The event offers several distance options to accommodate different preferences:

- 10k
The race venue is located at 1 Casino Way. Registered participants receive a race shirt and a finisher medal. For the Kid's Fun Run, which covers approximately 400 yards, younger participants receive their own specific medals. Packet pickup is available on the morning of the event starting at 7:00 am. Free parking is provided near the course area, allowing participants to access their vehicles throughout the morning.
