The Escape to Belle Isle event is scheduled for July 18, 2026 in Detroit, Michigan at Belle Isle (1 Casino Way). The event offers multiple running distances:
- Kid's Fun Run (about 400 yards; open to ages 2-12)
- 2 Mile
- 5K
- 10K
The course start/finish area and packet pick up are located at the Belle Isle Casino. Parking is available in the large lot adjacent to the casino.
Logistics, perks and charity
Registration options include online, mail-in, or late registration on race day at the Belle Isle Casino. Early bird registration ends April 30, 2026. A group/team discount of $5 off per person is available. Listed race fees include examples of: 5K/10K - $60, 2 Mile - $45, Kid's Fun Run - $28. Extra T-shirts are available for purchase for $15.
All registered runners receive a T-shirt. Medals are awarded to finishers in the 5K and 10K. The event gives awards to the top male and female in the 5K and 10K. Kids in the Fun Run receive T-shirts and trophies or medals. A 1.5 hour time limit applies to the 5K and 10K. Walkers, strollers, and dogs are permitted.
