Escape to Belle Isle benefitting Ronald McDonald House Detroit
The 17th annual Escape to Belle Isle is a running event held on July 18, 2026 at 1 Casino Way, Detroit, MI 48224. The event offers multiple distances and takes place on and around Belle Isle. Proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Detroit, which provides a place for families to stay close to their hospitalized children and offers comfort, warm meals, transportation to and from hospitals, and overnight stays to help relieve financial and geographical burdens for families of children receiving care in Metro Detroit.
All registered runners and walkers receive a shirt and a medal. The Kid's Fun Run participants receive their own medals. The event is stroller friendly and allows dogs. Packet pickup is available on race day, and parking is free and close by.

- 2 Mile: 2 Miles (registration fee $40)
- 5k: 3.1 Miles (registration fee $50)
- 10k: 6.2 Miles (registration fee $50)
