Event Overview

The EPKicks Run for Shoes 5K takes place on Sunday, September 13, 2026. The event is located at Up and Running at 3233 N. Mesa in El Paso.

Distances

Participants can choose from three different event options:

5K Run
1 Mile
Ghost Run (NO SHIRT)

Registration Details

The standard individual registration fee is $35.00. A Ghost Run registration, for those unable to attend on race day, costs $25.00 and does not include a shirt. Team registration is $30 per member, available for teams with a minimum of 10 members.

Runners and walkers who register by August 29th will receive a short-sleeve technical race t-shirt. All registration fees are non-refundable.

Pre-Race and Awards

Packet pickup is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2025, from 12 PM to 6 PM at Up and Running.

The first 500 finishers will receive a finisher medal. Awards include a trophy for the overall male and female winners, a trophy for the largest team, and medals for the top three finishers in each male and female age group (10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over).
