EPKicks Run for Shoes
The EPKicks Run for Shoes is a multi-distance running and walking event located in El Paso, Texas. The event features multiple participation options for runners and walkers of various interests. Participants can choose standard registration, team registration, or a virtual option. This event supports local initiatives while providing a structured racing environment.
The following distances and categories are available:
- 5K Run (3.1 Miles)
- 1 Mile
- Ghost Run (Virtual participation)
The event is staged at the Up and Running location on North Mesa. Participants who register by the specified late August deadline are guaranteed a short sleeve technical race shirt. On the day of the event, finishers are greeted with refreshments at the finish line. The first 500 individuals to cross the finish line receive a commemorative finisher medal.
Awards and trophies are presented to the overall top male and female finishers, as well as the largest participating team. Age group medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in categories ranging from 10 and under to 70 and over. Pre-race packet pickup is organized the day before the event at the host venue. For those participating as a team, a minimum of ten members is required to qualify for specific team pricing.
