9th Annual Englewood Cliffs 5K
The Englewood Cliffs Recreation Department hosts the 9th annual edition of this community running event in New Jersey. The race takes place on Sunday, October 25, 2026, and follows a course through the streets of Englewood Cliffs. The event proceeds contribute to supporting the local recreation department. Participants can choose between two primary distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Fun Run
The 5K course is a USATF measured and timed route described as flat and fast. Race activities are centered at Witte Field on Johnson Avenue. The competition includes several award categories, with champion medals designated for the overall top male and female finishers. Additionally, medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers within specific age groups ranging from 14 and under to 80 and over.
The event is held rain or shine. For the 1 Mile Fun Run, all participants receive medals for their participation. Registration fees vary based on the timing of entry, with specific discounts available for students aged 17 and under, seniors aged 62 and older, and active USATF members.
