About the race
The Engadin Ultra Trail is a multi-distance trailrunning event in the Upper Engadine region around Samedan, Zuoz and La Punt. The event offers four race distances:
- 102 km
- 53 km
- 23 km
- 16 km
Race operations are centred on Samedan (Promulins Arena) with additional locations and facilities in Zuoz, La Punt and other valley points. Event services include bib pickup and on-site material control, an open-air concert in the village centre, marked courses with directional arrows and night-visible markings, and multiple refreshment and aid stations along the routes. Samariter posts and equipped aid stations support medical coverage in La Punt, Zuoz, Bever and Samedan, plus additional posts such as Celerina, Punt Muragl and Muottas Muragl for notfallversorgung.
Participants must complete and submit a signed athlete declaration, carry the compulsory material listed in the reglement, and follow course markings and volunteer instructions. Environmental respect is requested at all times; closed fences must be reclosed after passage. Runners use their race bib as a valid ticket for public transport within designated engadin mobile zones on the event days. The organiser provides detailed route profiles, situation plans and a verpflegungsplan; material controls and cutoffs are applied according to the rules.
