Emma Creek Classic 5K/1M

The Emma Creek Classic takes place on April 24, 2027 in Hesston, Kansas at 200 N Ridge Road. The event offers two distance options:

1 Mile Fun Walk/Run

Open registration runs from November 1, 2026 to April 11, 2027. The registration fee is $30 per entry. Packet pick up is available the day before at Hesston Aquatic Center (300 N Ridge Rd) and on race day at the venue. Parking will be at the stadium and a brunch will be provided for participants.

The 5K is a certified fast and flat course for women and girls of all ages. Timing chips are used and medical aid will be available. All Kansas middle school, junior high, and high school track and field athletes are ineligible to enter or compete. Strollers are welcome but should line up toward the back of the starting line. Cell phone use and pets are not allowed in the race. Scooters, skates, and skateboards are prohibited. Race results will be available at timerguys.com.

Awards are given to the top 10 overall and the top 3 in each age group. Age groups are: 8 and younger; 9-11; 12-17; 18-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80-84; and 85 and older.
