Event Overview
The Emerald Chase is a running and walking event taking place on Saturday, July 11, 2026. It features two race distances: 5K and 10K.
Location and Start
The event is held in Manistique, Michigan. The starting point for both races is the Manistique Senior Center. Participants are instructed to meet there on the day of the event. The race organizer states that the course will remain the same as in previous years.
Registration and Packet Pickup
Registration is handled online. Packet pickup is available at two locations and times:
- Friday, July 10 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 100 N. Cedar Street in Manistique (Manistique High School).
- Saturday, July 11 from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at the Manistique Senior Center.
Awards
Awards are given to the overall winners of all races. In the 5K, medals are awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers in all divisions. For the 10K, medals go to the top five male and female runners.
