The Emden Hill Run is a popular running event that has been held since 2013 and takes place on a roughly 25-meter-high elevation in Emden. The course includes a roughly 5 km loop, which partly runs over unpaved gravel paths and through hilly sections. Various competitions are offered at the event, including a 10 km hill run as well as 5 km walking and running for individual participants and teams.
