Ely Fall Fest 5K and 1 Mile Run
Ely Fall Fest 5K and 1 Mile Run takes place on September 20, 2026 at Ely City Park, 1635 Hillcrest Street, Ely, Iowa. The event is organized as a timed 5K and a shorter community fun run at the same park.

Packet pick-up, check-in, and both the start and finish areas are located at Ely City Park. A post-race free cinnamon roll and chocolate milk breakfast will be provided at City Park for race participants only. Pre-registered participants are eligible to receive a Fall Fest t-shirt; shirts are only guaranteed for those who register by August 28.
The 5K will be chip timed. Medals will be awarded to overall male and female finishers and to male and female finishers in multiple age brackets; the age bracket breakdown will be announced in May. An awards ceremony will be held at City Park after the running events.
Vehicle parking is not allowed in the south parking lot at Ely City Park. Participants are encouraged to use on-street parking on Main Street or Traer Street, or the north parking lot at the end of Northgate Drive off State Street. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
