Ely Fall Fest 2026

Ely Fall Fest is a family-oriented, affordable community event organized by the Ely Parks and Recreation Commission. The 19th annual Fall Fest is scheduled for Sunday, September 20 and Saturday, September 26, 2026, and features a variety of activities across those two days.

Main event highlights include a run day and a festival day. The run day on Sunday, September 20 includes:

The run concludes at the park with a free cinnamon roll and chocolate milk breakfast provided by local businesses. The festival day on Saturday, September 26 features a craft and vendor fair, a classic car show, food vendors, and a Kids Zone. The vendor fair charges $60 per space, operates rain or shine, and previously hosted about 80 vendors; fees collected support the Friends of the Ely, Iowa Library Programming.

Proceeds from Fall Fest have funded community recreation and park improvements over the years, including baseball diamonds and a soccer field, a batting cage, ADA accessible playground surfacing, a community ice skating rink, a Gaga Ball pit, and an electronic scoreboard at City Park.
