Event
The ELLPORT BORO COMMUNITY 5K takes place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Ellwood City, PA (313 Burns Ave). The event offers the following options:
- 5K run/walk : entry fee $20
- 5K Walk Only : entry fee $20
- 5K Virtual : entry fee $25; shirt or entry gift will be mailed
Price increases after January 28, 2026 for the in-person events. Virtual registration closes March 6, 2026.
Logistics and awards
Packet pickup begins at 9:30 am on race day. There is race day registration. The course is described as a flat 5K through the borough of Ellport (Ellwood City). Restrooms are available inside the community building only.
Prizes include $150 cash for overall course records and prize money for 70+ championships awarded to six-year age group winners in the 70-74, 75-79, and 80+ categories. Age group awards will be trophies. All entrants receive either running gloves, running socks, or a t-shirt. Pizza Joe’s pizza will be provided for participants.
