Event Overview
The Ellport Boro Community 5K takes place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania. The race includes both a run/walk and a walk-only 5k event, as well as a virtual 5k option where a shirt or entry gift will be mailed to participants.
Race Details
The course is described as flat and fast, taking runners through the Boro of Ellport. All entrants receive a choice of running gloves, running socks, or a t-shirt. The event offers indoor bathroom facilities inside the Community Building.
Prize Money and Awards:
- A cash prize is offered to the overall male and female winners.
- The event has a "70+ Championships" category, with prize money for age group winners in the 70-74, 75-79, and 80+ divisions.
- A $150 cash prize is available for breaking the overall course records.
- Age group awards for the year will be trophies.
