About the race
Elandskloof Trout Run is a trail running event at Elandskloof Trout Farm near Dullstroom in the Steenkampsberg valley, Mpumalanga. The course runs through farmland and natural scenery including streams, a waterfall, trout dams and lookout areas.

- 10 km
- 15 km
- 21 km
Entry fees for online entries are R100 for 6 km, R200 for 10 km, R250 for 15 km and R300 for 21 km; on-the-day entries carry a R30 surcharge. Registration takes place at the Elandskloof Trout Farm Lapa/Restaurant and substitutions or changes are allowed on race morning. Cut off for all distances is 11:00 pm. Each finisher receives a medal; cash prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers in each distance. Prize giving is scheduled for 10:00 am. Race shirts are available with last orders by 8 Nov 2026.
Aid and services: waterpoints provide water, soft drinks and light snacks (4 for 21 km, 3 for 15 km, 2 for 10 km, 1 for 6 km) and there is a hydration zone at the finish. Food and drinks are available from the restaurant across the weekend, including free coffee, tea and rusks before the race. Accommodation and camping are available at the venue; the entry fee does not include lodging.
Pet rules: dogs may accompany runners only on the 6 km and 10 km routes, must be kept on leash, and only participating dogs are allowed. Non-compliance may result in a R500 fine and removal from the venue. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
