About the race
El Santa Run 5K is scheduled for December 20, 2026 at Mission County Park, 6030 Padre Drive, San Antonio, TX 78214. Participants meet at the Rotunda Pavilion. Packet pickup is at Mural House Coffee Roasters, 1333 Buena Vista Street, San Antonio, on December 20 from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The deadline to submit shirt sizes is November 30; sizes are not guaranteed after that and additional shirts will be available on a first come first served basis. Registration includes a race shirt, a picture with Santa, a unique finisher medal, refreshments, free professional race photos, and chip timing.
Awards will be given to the top male and top female overall finishers and to first place finishers in each age group. Age groups are ages 0 to 13, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and older. A virtual race option is available for those who cannot attend in person and wish to receive event items remotely. Organizers are seeking local vendors for the event, which is expected to draw more than 400 runners and spectators.
