AIA El Paso Architecture Run
The AIA El Paso 5K Run and Fun Walk takes place in El Paso, Texas, starting at the Paso del Norte Hotel. This event, scheduled for April 19, 2026, is also referred to as the AIA El Paso Architecture Run. The event features two distinct distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Fun Walk
Participants receive a technical t-shirt and a finisher medal. The 5K event includes competitive categories with trophies awarded to the top three male and female finishers. Additionally, age group medals are provided for various categories ranging from 9 and under to 80 and over. A trophy is also awarded to the largest participating team.
Registration is organized to support team participation. Groups of 10 or more are eligible for a discount, where the first nine members receive a partial refund once the tenth member registers, and subsequent members pay a reduced rate. There is no race day registration available. Packet pick up is held the day prior to the event at a local running store, with a limited pick up window available on the morning of the event at the hotel.
The event allows pets on the course, provided they remain on a leash at all times. Participants are expected to maintain the cleanliness of the assembly areas. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
