Edgewood Independence Day 5K Run/Walk
The event is a chip-timed 5K run/walk (3.1 miles) held at Presidents Park in Edgewood, KY. The course is USATF certified and starts on Dudley Road with the finish at Presidents Park. Parking is available at St. Pius Church; there is no parking at Presidents Park.
Registration options include pre-registration and race-day registration. Pre-registration must be postmarked or dropped off by Monday, June 22, and also is available in person at Tri-State Running Company during the listed pre-race pickup days. Pre-registered entries offer two fee levels: $25 with a collector’s shirt or $15 without a shirt. Pre-registered packet and shirt pickup is scheduled at Tri-State Running Company on specific dates before the race; pre-registration and packet pick-up close Friday, July 3 at 6pm. Race-day registration is available at higher fees, with a collector’s technical shirt offered while supplies last.
Awards include cash and gift card prizes for 1st through 3rd overall male and female finishers, gift cards for division places, half-zip awards for top 20 males and females, and a $25 gift card bonus for a new course record.
