ECT 50% Half Marathon
The event is a 21 km trail run held in Flatrock, Newfoundland and Labrador. The route runs from Flatrock to the Red Cliff (Cobbler's Crescent Parking Lot) using Father Troy's Trail, Silver Mine Head Path, and Cobbler's Path.
It is presented as a shorter version of the ECT 50 ultramarathon, intended as preparation for a future 50k race or another trail racing distance.
On race day, bib pickup is near the starting line at Ann Waterman Family Park in Flatrock. All runners are required to carry a cell phone and a whistle. One aid station is located at Middle Cove Beach. The event proceeds regardless of weather conditions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
