ECT 50% Half Marathon
The ECT 50% Half Marathon is scheduled for October 9, 2027 in Flatrock, NL. The event is a trail half marathon of 21 km that follows sections of the East Coast Trail, including Father Troy's Trail, Silver Mine Head Path and Cobbler's Path between Flatrock and Red Cliff.
The event is organized by the ECT Sampler Series with support from the East Coast Trail Association, The Outfitters, and Train 4 Trails, and is insured by CARA Canadian Adventure Racing Association. Registration is offered for a fee indicated by the organizer and closes on October 9, 2027; registration and bib numbers are not transferable, though moving a registration to another ECT Sampler Series race may be permitted with advance notice. If the event is cancelled, refunds less service fees or rollover registration will be offered.
On-course logistics note a primary aid station at Middle Cove Beach where assistance and fluids such as water and Gatorade are provided; personal crews are encouraged to support participants at aid stations. Runners are expected to be self-sufficient for kit, nutrition and clothing and must carry a cell phone and a whistle.
