About the race
ECT 15 is a trail race held on October 3, 2026, in Pouch Cove, NL. The course follows the Stiles Cove Path from Pouch Cove toward Flatrock and is offered at a distance of 15K. The event is part of the ECT 50 Sampler Season Pass, which also registers participants for the ECT 50% Half Marathon on October 10.
The event is organized by the ECT Sampler Series and is supported by the East Coast Trail Association, The Outfitters, and Train 4 Trails. The event is insured by the Canadian Adventure Racing Association (CARA). Organizers state that registration and bib numbers cannot be transferred to other individuals, though moving a registration to another ECT Sampler Series race is possible with advance notice. Refunds less service fees or rollover registration will be offered if the event is cancelled.
On race day, check in and bib pickup occur at the starting area (Memorial Park in Pouch Cove). Organizers encourage drop off or carpooling and allow one drop bag per runner; this drop bag will be accessible at the finish area. Runners are required to carry a cell phone and a whistle, and the event runs as a "Rain or Shine" event, with participants expected to provide their own kit, nutrition, and clothing for varying conditions.
