EcoTrail Wicklow

EcoTrail Wicklow is a trail running event that starts and finishes along Bray Seafront and carries runners into the Wicklow Mountains. The event brings together thousands of runners and features coastal paths, forest trails, mountain climbs, and routes through historic estates.

Race headquarters is located near the bandstand area on the promenade. Bag drop is provided by the start and finish area. Routes are clearly marked and marshalled. Entry includes a bespoke running T-shirt and a finisher's memento produced in partnership with Wicklow Wolf. Finish-line refreshments and goodies are provided.

All distances begin beside the sea and climb Bray Head before moving into mountain terrain and forest tracks. Route highlights include Bray Head, Kilruddery Estate trails, the Little Sugarloaf, and the Sugarloaf peaks. The 10K course is approximately 85% off-road. The 80K route covers nearly 80 kilometres with over 2600 m of elevation gain.
