East Hanningfield Trail Marathon

The East Hanningfield Trail Marathon is a unique trail race where participants follow written instructions instead of arrows or marshals. The circular route around the village of Danbury is 95% off-road with various terrains. Runners are required to carry a mobile phone for safety.

The race starts and finishes at The East Hanningfield Village Hall, with well-stocked checkpoints every 6.5 miles. Participants receive a medal and hot food at the finish. The event is organized under a permit from The Trail Running Association.
