East Galway AC 8K Road Race : Skehana
The East Galway AC 8K Road Race takes place in Skehana on 22nd March 2026. The course was measured using a Jones counter and race timing is provided by Just Run Events. A permit has been approved, cert. no. 25/711.
The route runs on rural roads and is described as fast, with numerous personal bests recorded on the course in the previous year. Parking and toilets are available at the start and finish area. There is a water station on the route at approximately 5 km.
Finishers receive medals. Tea, coffee, water, and treats are provided in the finish area. The event is scheduled a few weeks before the Galway 5k series and can serve as a training test after winter and spring training.
