The 13.1 mile course passes through Montpelier, Pitshanger, Central Ealing and Hanwell before returning to Walpole Park via Uxbridge Road. Road closures are managed with local authorities and organisers aim to re-open roads shortly after the last runners pass.
The event is run alongside several companion events and community activities. Distances include:
- Half Marathon 13.1 miles
- Ealing Feeling 5k
- West London 10k
- Ealing Mini Mile and other children’s races
Entries are sold until capacity is reached and the event has been voted the UK’s number one half marathon in multiple awards. Race services include chip timing with BibTag chips, pace groups led by experienced pacers, baggage storage with a size limit of 40cm x 30cm x 10cm, and tail runners with a three hour course cut off. There are three official water stations at around 4, 6 and 9 miles, recycled 200 ml bottles, and a permanent water fountain in Lammas Park for refills.
Organisers emphasise sustainability: recyclable PET1 bottles, wooden finisher medals, limited event merchandise, no adult finisher t-shirts by default, and no single use goodie bags at the finish. Race packs and bibs are collection only and do not carry preprinted names. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
