Event overview
The Ealing Half Marathon is a road-closed running event based in Walpole Park, Ealing W5 5EQ. The main event is a 13.1 miles half marathon that follows a route through Montpelier, Pitshanger, Central Ealing and Hanwell before returning to Walpole Park via Uxbridge Road. The event usually attracts up to 7,000 runners and includes additional races on the same weekend.

Race details and support
The course has mile markers and 5k markers, and uses chip timing with an integrated BibTag. There are three official water stations at approximately miles 4, 6 and 9, plus water after the finish. Water is provided in 200ml recycled PET1 bottles and a permanent refill fountain is available in Lammas Park. The event operates a tail runner and sweeper vehicle; the official cut-off to complete the course is three hours.
Logistics and finish
Race packs and bibs are collection only in the days before the event. Baggage storage accepts small bags up to 40 x 30 x 10 cm. Photos are supplied by an official photographer and are usually available 24-48 hours after the race. Adult finisher t-shirts are not supplied; finishers receive a commemorative wooden medal.
