First Annual Eagle Grove EMS 5K
The First Annual Eagle Grove EMS 5K is a community fitness event held in Eagle Grove, Iowa. The race starts and finishes at the Eagle Grove EMS Station located at 101 N. Wright. This event supports the local Emergency Medical Services and includes a bake sale for participants and spectators to enjoy during the proceedings.
Participants can choose from two distinct distances:
- 5K run/walk
- 0.2 miles Kids Dash (for children aged 10 and under)
The 5K event is organized into multiple age categories, including 10 and under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50 and up. The Kids Dash features separate boy and girl divisions, with awards presented to the top three finishers in each.
