About the race
The Klein Karoo Dust4Glory Challenge is an obstacle course event held at Wilgewandel Holiday Farm near Oudtshoorn in the Western Cape. The event offers three main course options and several category choices that vary by distance and obstacle count. Participants may enter individually or as part of a team; team members start together but do not need to finish together.
Distances and categories include:
- 1 km Mini Obstacle Challenge with 10 obstacles
- 5 km Medium Obstacle Challenge with 10 obstacles
- 10 km Pro Obstacle Challenge with 20 obstacles
- 5 km Dust4Glory Corporate Teams with 10 obstacles
- 2 km Grade 6 and 7 Obstacle Challenge
- 2.5 km Grade 4 and 5 Obstacle Challenge
The venue is located on Cango Caves Road within reach of local attractions such as the Cango Caves, Cango Wildlife Ranch, Buffelsdrift Game Lodge, ostrich farms, Swartbergpass and a nearby waterfall. The finish area is in front of the on-site restaurant and crosses a floating bridge. Spectators are not permitted on the course; a live feed will be available at the restaurant. There are no showers at the finish. Organizers note grip gloves may help and request participants bring old clothing to donate to a charity.
