Dunk River Road Race 2026
The 49th Annual Callbeck’s Home Hardware Dunk River Road Race is scheduled for Sunday, July 26, 2026 in Summerside, Prince Edward Island. The race begins and finishes at the Mount Moriah Masonic Lodge, 857 Dunk River Road, in Central Bedeque at the junction of Dunk River Road and Route 1A.
Runners can choose between two courses:
- 5 km out-and-back with rolling hills and a steady climb near the finish
- 7.3 mile (11.75 km) loop around the Dunk River with rolling hills
Check-in and bib pick up take place at the Bedeque rink; washrooms are available there. Participants receive a Terry Fox T-shirt. Top three overall male and female finishers for each distance will receive trophies. Age class medals will be awarded in these categories: 19 and Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
Food and drink are provided after the race for all participants. Registration fees vary by age: youth under 14 are free, fees apply for ages 15 to 18, and a separate fee applies for adults 19 and older. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
