MVRA Benefit Classic
The MVRA Benefit Classic in Dubuque is the 49th annual event presenting a variety of road races with funds designated for the Veterans Freedom Center, which serves active duty, reserve, and honorably discharged Tri-State veterans.
The event starts and finishes at IMON Arena, 1800 Admiral Sheehy Drive, Dubuque, IA 52001. The course route highlights sections along the Bee Branch and the Mississippi River and is described as completely flat. The event uses chip timing and awards are based on gun time. Cash prizes are awarded to overall male and female finishers 1st through 3rd and to masters (40+) 1st through 3rd for the half marathon.

Each half marathon finisher receives a 2026 medal. Each racer will receive an exclusive 2025 Benefit Classic hat; there will not be shirts this year and hats are not guaranteed after August 30. A youth hat may be purchased for the kids race. Relay entries do not have same day registration.
