Dublin City Half Marathon 2026
The Dublin City Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, 3rd May 2026. The event is hosted by the Dublin Marathon Group in partnership with Dublin City Council, the official event partner.
The race distance is a half marathon. The course starts in the city centre on O'Connell Street, moves out through the north of the city, and finishes back in the city centre.
Entry to the event is by ballot. Ballot registration opens on Friday 16th January and closes at midnight on Thursday 22nd January. The ballot entry requires a partial payment of €4 plus booking fee; if successful, a final payment of €71 plus booking fee will be charged between 3rd February and 5th February 2026.
The published entry fee is €75 plus booking fees. The entry fee includes a finisher's t-shirt, a medal, and the postage of the race number. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
