Drogheda Easter 5k 2026
The Drogheda Easter 5k takes place in Drogheda on Easter Monday, 6 April 2026, and will be the first race held on the new Port Access Northern Cross Route (PANCR). The event is presented as a 5 km road event suitable for runners, joggers and walkers of all abilities.
This is a charity community event to raise funds for Drogheda’s first Community Centre, the Moneymore Townland Community Hub. The hub is intended to provide a safe, secure place for families, children and young people, and to allow publicly funded services to be delivered without space constraints. Local services named as needing expanded space include Connect Family Resource Centre, Cable Youth Diversion Project and Moneymore Afterschool Project. The community aims to raise €300,000 in match funding toward the project.
Ticket options listed for the event include an adult chipped entry with a T-shirt for the first 200 entrants priced at €25 plus a fee, and a kids non-chipped entry priced at €5 plus a fee.
