Dreamers of Achievement 5K
The Dreamers of Achievement 5K Run/Walk is a fundraiser hosted by the South Fulton (GA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. The event aims to support scholarships, mentorships, and community engagement initiatives.
The race takes place at Jess Lucas Y-Teen Park in Hapeville, Georgia. It offers an in-person and a virtual option. Registration opens on February 12, 2026. Packet pickup is available the day before the race at the Hapeville Juneteenth Celebration at Jess Lucas Park, and on race morning at the venue.
The course is a USATF-certified 5K with the certification code GA25018WC. It is also a qualifier for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race. The event features professional RFID chip timing by Elite Race Timing. Results are published live shortly after finishing.
A time limit of 1 hour and 20 minutes applies to the 5K. Awards are given for overall male and female, masters male and female, and age group categories. Registration includes a t-shirt, though it is not guaranteed for entries after June 13, 2026. Finisher medals are guaranteed for the first 300 registrants.
