Dreamers of Achievement 5K Run/Walk
The South Fulton Alumni Chapter (SFAC) of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., hosts the 2nd Annual Dreamers of Achievement 5K Run/Walk on June 20, 2026, at Jess Lucas Y-Teen Park, 680 S. Central Ave., Hapeville, GA 30354. The event serves as a fundraiser to support scholarships, mentorships, and community engagement initiatives.
The event offers an in-person 5K (3.1 miles) and a virtual 5K option. Registration opens February 15, 2026, and closes March 7, 2026; fees are $35.00 for the in-person 5K and $40.00 for the virtual 5K. Registration will be available via QR code at packet pickup and on race morning; payment by credit or debit card only. Early packet pickup is scheduled for June 19, 2026, at the Hapeville Juneteenth Celebration at Jess Lucas Park.
The course is USATF certified (GA25018WC) and uses professional timing with gun and chip plus RFID timing by Elite Race Timing. The event is a Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race qualifying event. Awards include overall male and female, Division 9 male and female, masters male and female, and age group awards. Registered participants receive a T-shirt, with size availability not guaranteed after June 5, 2026; finishers receive customized medals and Juneteenth commemorative bibs.
There is a 1 hour 20 minute time limit for the 5K; participants still on course after the limit will be asked to vacate the course. All registrations are final and non-transferable.
