Drayton Valley Turkey Trot

Drayton Valley Turkey Trot, now in its 5th year as the Pembina Nordic Turkey Trot, takes place at the Pembina Nordic Ski Centre in Rocky Rapids, Alberta. The event features a 5 km run or walk on trails that include single-track and grass-covered wide track, plus a 1 km kids race. Finishers receive medals and cookies, and there are prizes for the best-dressed turkey.

The 5 km race includes age-based placing categories. Registration options include advance online sign-up or same-day on-site registration with higher fees.
