Drayton Manor 5k & 10k
This event is a closed-road running event held at Drayton Manor Theme Park in Tamworth, United Kingdom. It takes place in support of Midlands Mencap and uses routes that pass attractions within the park, including the Accelerator, Stormforce 10, and Thomas Land. Entry to the theme park is included with registration and is listed at RRP £25–£45.
Included with entry are a themed medal, chip timed results, post-race goodies, and free race photos. Each kilometre on the course is marked with distance flags and marshals are placed around the route to guide and encourage participants. The event village provides food and drink options and partner giveaways at the finish area.
Ticketing follows tiered pricing periods noted by the organiser, and event organisers offer an optional event t-shirt available at a discounted price through a partner. The organiser also notes sustainability work as an area of focus for their events.
