Event overview
The Dragon Trails Winter Edition is a trail race at Pearsall Park in San Antonio, TX (4700 Old Pearsall Rd, 78242) on Saturday, February 21, 2026. The event offers three distance options and is organized by E-Dragon Productions. All races are officially timed by Best Race Timers IAAP. Participants receive a race singlet, an event-specific finisher medal or tile, and a post-race taco breakfast. Age-group awards are given in 10-year increments from 19 and under through 70 plus.

Courses and race details
The courses use marked trails with signs and cones and include rocky, hilly terrain. Runners are required to carry their own water. Aid stations provide cold water and Gatorade, placed about one mile apart. The 25K is two loops with about 778 feet of climb per loop (approximately 1,556 feet total). The 10K has about 675 feet of total climb. The 5K includes roughly three steep hills and nearly 100 feet of climbing per kilometer.
A race-day packet pick-up is held under the E-Dragon Productions tent at Pearsall Park; packets include shirt, bib, timing chip, and safety pins. A bag drop is available at the finish line for items needed on a second loop in the 25K. The 25K has a time limit of 4 hours 30 minutes; runners must finish the first loop within 2 hours 15 minutes to continue to the second loop.
