Dragon Slayer Ultra - Chepstow, Gwent
The Dragon Slayer Ultra is an ultra trail event that starts and finishes at Chepstow Castle and uses local long-distance paths. The route follows the Wye Valley Trail from Chepstow Castle to Monmouth on the Welsh side, then returns along the Offas Dyke path on the English side via Tiddenham Tunnel. The course passes landmarks and features including the giants cave, a climb of 365 steps, Tintern Abbey, The Kymen, Redbrook, and a 1 km section through Tiddenham Tunnel.
