WACHAU TRAIL 2026
The Wachau Trail takes place on 2 and 3 October 2026 in Stadtpark Krems, Ringstraße 3159/1, 3500 Krems an der Donau, Austria. The event follows trails through forests, vineyards and along the Danube and is presented as a non‑competitive outdoor trail experience focused on personal challenge, nature and community.
Multiple route lengths are offered so participants can choose the distance that matches their plans and abilities.
- 10 km: suited to beginners and recreational walkers.
- 24 km: aimed at motivated nature hikers.
- 35 km: for participants seeking a longer route.
- 56 km: a longer single‑day trail option.
- 77 km: intended for experienced trail participants.
- 101 km: an extended route for long-distance participants.
- 160 km: the longest route covering the wider Wachau area.
