Event details

The Donate Life Hero Run East takes place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at H. Boyd Lee Park, 5184 Corey Road, Greenville, NC 27834. The event is organized by Donate Life NC and ECU Transplant Center and raises awareness of organ, eye, and tissue transplants in North Carolina. Event timing is provided by Run The East, LLC.

Registration and awards

Registration fees change after March 21, 2026. For the 5K the fee is $35 through March 21, then $40 through race day. For the 1 Mile Fun Run the fee is $30 through March 21, then $35 through race day. Shirt size is guaranteed for registrations completed by March 21.

Awards include Top Overall Male and Top Overall Female. There are additional awards for Top Male and Top Female in each age group: 15 & under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
