About the race

The Donate Life Hero Run East includes a Hero Run 5K and a 1 Mile fun run that celebrate the hero in everyone while raising awareness of organ, eye, and tissue transplants in North Carolina. The event is presented by Donate Life NC and ECU Transplant Center and is open to all ages and abilities.

The event takes place in Greenville, North Carolina at 105 E. 1st Street. Registration opens January 1, 2027. Early registration fees through March 28 are listed as $35 for the 5K and $30 for the 1 Mile; higher registration fees apply through race day. Shirt size is guaranteed for registrations completed by March 28.
