Doggy Dash 5K in Dexter
The Doggy Dash 5K is a fundraising running event on September 26, 2026 at Hudson Mills Metropark, 8801 N Territorial Rd, Dexter, MI 48130. The event raises funds to sponsor a therapy dog for Michigan Medicine through the Paws4Patients program; all proceeds will support that mission.
The event uses chipped timing and offers a course with water and bananas available along the route. Participants of all ages and paces may walk, jog, or run; strollers, children, and dogs are welcome. Post-race items available for purchase include baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, and dog treats, with proceeds supporting the fundraiser.
Event registration opens July 14, 2026 and closes September 26, 2026; the registration fee is $30. Ann Arbor T Shirt Company donated the first 100 event shirts. After those are claimed, 50% of subsequent t shirt sales will benefit Paws4Patients, and an online store for apparel will remain open after race day. Custom dog bandanas and dog stuffed animals will be available for purchase during registration and on race day; pre-order sales for apparel and items close on September 11, 2026.
