Doggy Dash 5K - Dexter
The Doggy Dash 5K is scheduled for 09/26/2026 at 8801 N Territorial Rd, Dexter, MI 48130. The event distance is 3.1 Miles and features chipped timing. A registration fee of $30 applies.
The event honors an individual who passed away in 2024 at age 25 from glioblastoma. Proceeds will support the Paws4Patients program to sponsor a therapy dog at Michigan Medicine.
Participants of all ages, paces, and abilities may take part; walking, jogging, and running are included. Strollers, children, and dogs are explicitly welcome. On-course water and bananas will be provided. After the event, baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, and doggy treats will be available for purchase, with sales supporting the fundraiser.
Ann Arbor T-Shirt Company donated the first 100 event shirts. After those are distributed, half of all t-shirt proceeds will continue to benefit Paws4Patients and the online store will remain open beyond race day. Shirts purchased by 09/20 will be available for pick-up at check-in. Doggy bandanas will be available for purchase during sign-up and on race day.
Please note that Hudson Mills charges a $10 vehicle entry fee unless attendees have a Metroparks pass. There will be an optional packet pick-up at HOMES Campus (112 Jackson Plaza, Ann Arbor, MI 48103) on Saturday, October 4; packet pick-up and on-site registration will also be available on race day.
