About the race
The Djouce - The Ayling Abyss is a mountain running event held in Wicklow, Ireland, starting from Djouce Woods car park. The main race covers a challenging 12.4 km course with a 633-meter climb, featuring moderate terrain and over 500 meters of ascent. Due to recent storm damage, the route has been altered and slightly lengthened but remains demanding.
A shorter 4.65 km course with 135 meters of elevation gain is available for juniors and less experienced runners. The route is fully marked, and mandatory safety kit is required.
