The Dirty December Trail Run is a holiday trail event in San Diego, CA, offering several course options on natural terrain. The event includes a marathon, a half marathon, a 10K and a new timed Hill Climb 6HR format that repeats a 2.5 mile out-and-back loop known as Cardiac hill.
The Hill Climb 6HR asks participants to complete as many 2.5 mile laps as possible within six hours. Cumulative distances for the loop progress in 2.5 mile increments (2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, and so on). Winners in this category receive King and Queen of the hill awards.
