Event Overview
The DirtRun Summer Sizzler Race 1 is a multi-terrain running competition held at Bromsgrove Rugby Club. The event is part of a larger series that includes four individual races. This specific race takes place on a single evening in May and utilizes the local landscape around the Finstall Road facility in Bromsgrove.
Course Information
The race features a 5 mile route that consists of multiple types of terrain. Participants navigate a course that includes:

The route incorporates local tracks, trails, and lanes. A portion of the course also follows a local towpath. Water is provided for runners at the half-distance mark of the race.
Entry and Participation
Registration is open to runners aged 14 years and older on the day of the event. The race has a participation limit of 150 runners. Canicross, the sport of running with dogs, is permitted for this event. Facilities available on-site at Bromsgrove Rugby Club include toilets and a bar for post-race refreshments.
As a "no-frills" event, individual medals and prizes are not awarded on the night of the race. Trophies are reserved for those who have registered for the full series. While individual race entries are available, points and qualification for the series leaderboard are only open to those who enter the complete series by the beginning of May.
