Dino Trail Run at Muscatatuck County Park
The Dino Trail Run takes place at Muscatatuck County Park on Saturday July 11th 2026. The event offers two measured trail distances and course support materials, including GPX files and maps. Course difficulty is noted as Hills 4 and Surface 3 on a 1 to 5 scale. Map distances and accuracy are subject to the limitations of the apps used; participants should follow course markings.

Registration is available online and prices increase the Wednesday before the event. Fees listed are 5K $30 and 15K $35; day of entry carries an additional $5 or more. A kids race is free. Awards are given to the overall top three in each distance and to top three finishers in each age group.
Weekend amenities and related activities include designated campsite reservations, festival style camping around Shelter 4 at $5 per person per night, restrooms within walking distance, and a nearby playground and splash pad by the field. Two evening kayak shuttle trips run on the river with approximate lengths of 3 miles and 2.5 miles and take a little over an hour at a leisurely pace. Multiple mountain bike events occur Saturday afternoon and Sunday, in downhill and short track formats.
