Muscatatuck Park Dino Trail Run

The course uses the park trail system and passes near a river valley. The organizer rates the course Hills 4 and Surface 3 on a 1 to 5 scale. Course maps and GPX files are provided for navigation; participants should follow course markings.
Registration is available online through race start and entry fees change the Wednesday before the event at midnight. Listed fees are 5K = $30, 15K = $35; day of entry includes an additional charge and the kids race is free. Season pass and multi-race bundle options are available for series events.
Festival camping is offered around Shelter 4 for $5 per person per night; designated campsites can be reserved online. Restrooms are within walking distance of the main event area. Additional weekend activities include multiple mountain bike events on Saturday afternoon and Sunday, plus two Saturday evening guided kayak shuttle trips that are offered for a fee; trip lengths are approximately 2.5 to 3 miles and each trip takes about an hour depending on water level.
Race rules require race numbers to be visible, following the marked trail, courteous passing, and prohibit headphones and dogs. Awards are medals for the overall top three in each distance and for top three in age groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
