Dieng Caldera Race 2026
The Dieng Caldera Race returns for its fifth edition between 19 June and 21 June 2026. This trail running competition takes place in the Dieng Plateau of Central Java, Indonesia. The event is organized at the Tambi Tea Resort, specifically within the Tambi Tea Plantation and Factory in the Wonosobo Regency.
Participants can choose from several distance categories:
- 75 KM (listed as 85 KM/75 KM in varying documentation)
- 42 KM Open and Master categories
- 21 KM Open and Master categories
- 10 KM Open category
The routes are designed through a volcanic landscape featuring various natural and cultural landmarks. The course passes through the Tambi Tea Plantation, Mount Prau, and Mount Bismo. Runners also encounter geological features such as the Sikidang Crater, Telaga Warna, and Menjer Lake. Historical sites along the path include the Arjuna Temple and Semar Cave. Other notable points of interest nearby include Sikunir, Batu Ratapan Angin, and Watu Gribig.
