DFD FIRE 5 - Durand, WI
The DFD FIRE 5 is a non-timed 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk held in Durand, Wisconsin, as a fundraiser for the Durand Fire Department. The event takes place on May 16, 2026, at the Durand Fire Hall, 205 East Montgomery St, Durand, WI 54736. It serves as the kickoff to the Durand Fire Department Dinner and Dance Fundraiser, which is held annually the third weekend in May.
Registration runs through May 17, 2026, with a standard fee of $25 for participants age 13 and up and $15 for participants age 12 and under. Pre-registration guarantees a shirt and ends April 25, 2026; registrations after that date and same-day registrations are possible but shirt sizes and quantities will be limited. No refunds are offered.
The top three finishers receive a chicken dinner redeemable during the DFD Dinner and Dance Fundraiser; charcoal chicken will be served during that fundraiser while supplies last. Check-in and same-day registration are available at the Durand Fire Hall on race day. Strollers, wagons, and similar equipment are permitted on the course.
