DFD FIRE 5 : Durand Fire Department fundraiser
The Durand Fire Department organizes the 5th Annual DFD FIRE 5, a non-timed 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk held as a fundraiser and as the kickoff to the Durand Fire Department Dinner and Dance Fundraiser, an event held annually the third weekend in May. The event date is May 16, 2026, and activities take place at the Durand Fire Hall, 205 East Montgomery St, Durand, WI 54736.
Registration includes both pre-registration and same-day registration at the fire station on race day. Pre-registration guarantees a participant shirt, which will be available at check-in. Same-day registrants may receive shirts in limited sizes and quantities; shirts for same-day sign-up are distributed first come, first served. No refunds are available.
Entry fees are listed by age group: participants age 12 and under pay $18.00, and participants age 13 and up pay $30.00. The event accepts strollers and wagons. The top three finishers among runners are awarded a complimentary chicken dinner to be redeemed during the Durand Fire Department Dinner and Dance Fundraiser.
