Event overview
The Devon Coast to Coast is a multi-distance trail event held 18-19 April 2026 across Devon. The main non-stop option covers 112 miles (180 km) along the Two Moors Way, crossing the county and two national parks. Live GPS tracking is provided and tracker hire is mandatory for all entries. Entries open 27 June 2025 and close 9 April 2026.
Courses
- 112 miles (180 km) non-stop from Wembury to Lynmouth - 38 hour time limit.
- 75 km (South Devon and Dartmoor) from Wembury to Chagford - 14 hour time limit.
- 100 km (Mid Devon and Exmoor) from Chagford to Lynmouth - 25 hour time limit.
- Marathon (Exmoor in a Day) from West Anstey to Lynmouth - 13 hour time limit.
Route and navigation
The route begins in Wembury and follows the 17 mile Erme-Plym Trail to Ivybridge, where it joins the Two Moors Way, a waymarked 100 mile trail from south Dartmoor to north Exmoor and Lynmouth. The route briefly crosses into Somerset before returning to Devon. Some sections are waymarked, but open moorland and field crossings require care and navigation. A GPX file and an Outdoor Active route are available, and paper maps covering the route are sold separately.
Logistics and support
Checkpoints are fully stocked and include hot drinks and hot food. Support crews are permitted at designated locations on the non-stop event. Transport to start locations is available before the event for each distance option; there is no return transport after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
