Event Overview
The Devon Coast to Coast is a multi-distance running event held from Saturday, April 18th, to Sunday, April 19th, 2026. It follows a coastal-to-coast route across Devon, using a combination of waymarked trails.
Distances and Start Times
Participants can choose from several distances:
- Devon Coast to Coast Ultra: A 112-mile non-stop route from Wembury to Lynmouth.
- Devon 75km: A route from Wembury to Chagford, covering South Devon and Dartmoor.
- Devon 100km: A route from Chagford to Lynmouth, covering Mid Devon and Exmoor.
- Exmoor in a Day (Marathon): A marathon-distance route from West Anstey to Lynmouth across Exmoor.
All entries include mandatory tracker hire. The event permits the use of support teams for the non-stop ultra distance at key locations.
The Route
The event utilizes established trails. The route begins on the 17-mile Erme-Plym Trail from Wembury to Ivybridge. From there, it follows the Two Moors Way, a 100-mile trail crossing Dartmoor and Exmoor national parks to finish at the coast in Lynmouth. The route is primarily waymarked, but navigation may be required on some sections of open moorland. A GPX file and route map are available.
Logistics
Organized transport to the start line is available for each distance option and can be booked during or after entry. There is no return transport after the event. The event features fully-stocked checkpoints offering hot drinks and food. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
