Devon Coast to Coast Ultra Marathon

The event is a set of multi-distance running stages across Devon on 17-18 April 2027, with entries opening on 26 April 2026 at 18:00. Runners follow the Erme-Plym Trail from Wembury to Ivybridge, then the Two Moors Way to Lynmouth, crossing Dartmoor and Exmoor and briefly entering Somerset.

Distances and formats include:

  • 112 miles (180 km) non stop from Wembury to Lynmouth, 38 hour time limit.
  • Devon 75 km from Wembury to Chagford, 14 hour time limit.
  • Devon 100 km from Chagford to Lynmouth, 25 hour time limit.
  • Exmoor in a Day Marathon from West Anstey to Lynmouth, 13 hour time limit.

Participants navigate the route themselves following the waymarked Two Moors Way; some sections cross open moorland where navigation is required. A GPX file is provided and the route is available on Outdoor Active. Live GPS tracking is included for entries.

Checkpoints are fully stocked and provide hot drinks and hot food. Support teams are permitted to meet runners at designated locations. Optional transport runs from the finish to start locations take place before the event; there is no return transport after the event.
