Event overview
The Devon Coast to Coast Ultra & Marathon takes place on 18-19 April 2026 and follows the Two Moors Way across Devon. The full route starts in Wembury, follows the 17-mile Erme-Plym Trail to Ivybridge, then joins the waymarked Two Moors Way from south Dartmoor to north Exmoor, finishing at Lynmouth. The course crosses the county and passes through both Dartmoor and Exmoor national parks, with a short section that crosses into Somerset and back. Route materials include an Outdoor Active route, a GPX file, and printed map options. Checkpoints are fully stocked and hot food and drinks are available. Live GPS tracking is provided and tracker hire is mandatory. Support crews are permitted at key locations on the non-stop event.
Distances, entries and logistics
- 112 miles (180 km) non-stop Wembury to Lynmouth; 38 hour time limit.
- 75 km Wembury to Chagford; full Dartmoor crossing; 14 hour time limit.
- 100 km Chagford to Lynmouth; mid Devon and Exmoor; 25 hour time limit.
- Marathon West Anstey to Lynmouth; full Exmoor crossing; open to runners and walkers.
Entries open 27 June 2025 and close 9 April 2026. Entry fees are shown for each distance: Ultra £220.00, 75km £101.50, 100km £120.00, Marathon £80.50.
