Devon Coast to Coast Ultra & Marathon (18-19 April 2026)
The event is a multi-distance running challenge across Devon following the Two Moors Way. It starts in Wembury and finishes in Lynmouth, crossing the county and two national parks and briefly entering Somerset. The route begins on the 17 mile Erme-Plym Trail to Ivybridge, then follows the waymarked Two Moors Way to the north coast at Lynmouth.
Distances
- 112 miles (180 km) non-stop Wembury to Lynmouth, 38 hour time limit
- 75 km Wembury to Chagford, includes a full Dartmoor crossing, 14 hour time limit
- 100 km Chagford to Lynmouth, mid Devon and Exmoor, 25 hour time limit
- Marathon West Anstey to Lynmouth, full Exmoor crossing, 13 hour time limit
Route, tracking and support
The route is waymarked but includes open moorland and sections where navigation is required. The course is available on Outdoor Active and a GPX file will be provided. Live GPS tracking is included and entries include mandatory tracker hire. Checkpoints are fully stocked and offer hot drinks and hot food. Support crews are permitted to meet entrants at key locations on the non-stop event.
Entries, fees and transport
Entries open 27 June 2025 and close 9 April 2026. Published entry fees are: the 112 mile ultra £220.00, 75 km £101.50, 100 km £120.00, and the Exmoor marathon £80.50. Transport to start locations is available from the finish before the event as an optional extra; there is no return transport after the event.
