Devon Coast to Coast
Devon Coast to Coast is a multi-distance outdoor event on 17-18 April 2027 that follows the Two Moors Way across Devon from Wembury to Lynmouth. The route begins with the Erme-Plym Trail to Ivybridge and then follows the waymarked Two Moors Way across Dartmoor and Exmoor, briefly crossing into Somerset.
Distances offered:
- 112 miles (180 km) non stop from Wembury to Lynmouth crossing two national parks.
- 100 km final 100 km from Chagford to Lynmouth.
- 75 km from Wembury to Chagford including a full Dartmoor crossing.
- Marathon Exmoor in a Day from West Anstey to Lynmouth.
The route is waymarked but some sections are not obvious, especially on open moorland, and navigation may be required. A GPX file will be available and the route can be followed on the Outdoor Active app. Live GPS tracking is included for the listed distances.
Event support includes fully stocked checkpoints with hot drinks and hot food. Support teams are permitted to meet participants at key locations. Optional transport runs will operate from the finish to each start location before the event; there is no return transport after the event.
