Devon Coast to Coast Ultra Marathon
The Devon Coast to Coast follows the Two Moors Way from Wembury to Lynmouth, crossing Devon from south to north and passing through Dartmoor and Exmoor. The route briefly crosses into Somerset on Exmoor. Multiple distance options cover either the full coast to coast line or sections of it.
Distances and options
- 112 miles (180 km) non-stop Wembury to Lynmouth, 38 hour limit
- 75 km Wembury to Chagford, full Dartmoor crossing, 14 hour limit
- 100 km Chagford to Lynmouth, Mid Devon and Exmoor, 25 hour limit
- Marathon Exmoor in a Day West Anstey to Lynmouth, 13 hour limit
The route is waymarked but includes open moorland and other sections where navigation is required. A GPX file is provided and the route is available on the Outdoor Active app. Live GPS tracking is included for entrants.
Checkpoints are fully stocked and offer hot drinks and hot food. The event permits the use of support teams meeting participants at key locations. Optional transport runs from the finish to each start location before the event; there is no return transport after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
