Devon Coast to Coast – Two Moors Way

Devon Coast to Coast is a multi-distance running event that follows the Two Moors Way across the county from Wembury to Lynmouth. The route crosses two national parks, includes a full Dartmoor and Exmoor crossing on some options, and briefly enters Somerset on Exmoor.

Distances offered:

  • 112 miles (180 km) non stop from Wembury to Lynmouth
  • Devon 75 km from Wembury to Chagford
  • Devon 100 km from Chagford to Lynmouth
  • Exmoor in a Day marathon from West Anstey to Lynmouth

The course starts with the 17 mile Erme-Plym Trail to Ivybridge where the Two Moors Way is met. The path is waymarked, with some new markers, but there are open sections of moorland and fields where navigation is required. The route is available on Outdoor Active and as a GPX file for GPS devices. A Harvey map covering Ivybridge to Lynmouth is available separately.

Event logistics include fully stocked checkpoints with hot drinks and hot food, and support crews are permitted to meet runners at key locations on the non-stop event. Live GPS tracking is provided and tracker hire is mandatory. Optional transport is available from the finish to each start location before the event; there is no return transport after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
