Event overview

The Devon Coast to Coast event takes place on 18-19 April 2026 and follows the Two Moors Way across Devon from Wembury to Lynmouth. The route crosses two national parks, includes a 17-mile Erme-Plym Trail section to Ivybridge, and briefly passes into Somerset on Exmoor. The non-stop ultra covers the whole county and has a published time limit.

  • 75 km first stage from Wembury to Chagford, 14 hour time limit
  • 100 km final stage from Chagford to Lynmouth, 25 hour time limit
  • Marathon final stage across Exmoor from West Anstey to Lynmouth

Route and logistics

The route is waymarked and available on Outdoor Active; a GPX file is provided for GPS devices. There are open sections of moorland where navigation is required. All entries include mandatory tracker hire and live GPS tracking is provided. Checkpoints are fully stocked and include hot drinks and hot food. Support teams are permitted to meet runners at key locations on the non-stop event.

Transport is available before the event from the finish location to each start location as an optional extra; there is no return transport after the event.
