Devon Coast to Coast Ultra Marathon
The Devon Coast to Coast event on 18–19 April 2026 marks a Fifty year anniversary edition of the Two Moors Way route. The main non stop ultra covers the full route from Wembury on the south coast to Lynmouth on the north coast, crossing the county and both Dartmoor and Exmoor national parks and briefly entering Somerset.
The event provides fully stocked checkpoints with hot drinks and hot food. The use of support teams is permitted at agreed locations. Live GPS tracking is provided for participants and a GPX file is available for use with GPS devices. The route is waymarked and also available on the Outdoor Active app, but a few open moorland sections require careful navigation and map use. A Harvey map covering the Two Moors Way is available for navigation reference.
Transport arrangements for 2026 run from the finish to the various start locations before the event as an optional extra. There is no return transport provided after the event.
Distances and format include:
- 112 miles (180 km) non stop Wembury to Lynmouth, 38 hour time limit
- 75 km Wembury to Chagford, full Dartmoor crossing, 14 hour time limit
- 100 km Chagford to Lynmouth, mid Devon and Exmoor, 25 hour time limit
- Marathon West Anstey to Lynmouth, Exmoor crossing, 13 hour time limit
