Event overview
The Devon Coast to Coast Ultra & Marathon takes place across the Two Moors Way on 18–19 April 2026. The event uses waymarked trails and the 17-mile Erme-Plym Trail between Wembury and Ivybridge. It crosses the county of Devon and passes through Dartmoor and Exmoor national parks, with a short section that crosses into Somerset and back into Devon. Entries open 27 June 2025 and close 9 April 2026. All entries include mandatory tracker hire and live GPS tracking.
Route, distances and logistics
The route is provided on Outdoor Active and as a GPX file for GPS devices. Some sections are open moorland where navigation is required. Checkpoints are fully stocked and include hot drinks and hot food. Support teams are permitted at key locations on the non-stop event. Transport from the finish to each start location runs before the event and is offered as an optional extra; there is no return transport after the event. - 75 km first stage, Wembury to Chagford - 14 hour limit
- 100 km final stage, Chagford to Lynmouth - 25 hour limit
- Marathon West Anstey to Lynmouth (Exmoor crossing) - 12 or 13 hour limit depending on listing
