Devil's Trail Schiermonnikoog

Devil's Trail Schiermonnikoog is a two-day trail event on 6 and 7 November 2026 on the Waddeneiland Schiermonnikoog. Routes run through National Park terrain that includes dunes, forest tracks, wide beaches, (moist) salt-marsh paths and paved approaches to the accommodation De Oorsprong. The event combines a Friday evening NightTrail and several daytime trails on Saturday, all with marked routes and signposted splits.

The listed entry fees include a timing chip. Registration opens in February 2026 and continues until 31 October or until the participant limit of 1000 is reached; an early bird rate applies until 1 May. The NightTrail requires a headlamp. Aid stations supply water, sports drink and small snacks; the 10 km and 15 km courses have one aid station, the 30 km course has two, with approximate locations at 4.5 km, 7 km, 11 km and 18 km depending on distance.

Participants are responsible for their boat tickets with WPD; the return crossing is free. At the finish there are beverages, food stands and a hot tub area; children have play facilities. At least €1.50 per entry is donated to Natuurmonumenten / Nationaal Park Schiermonnikoog. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
