About the race
Devil’s Trail Rijk van Nijmegen takes place on 25 October 2026 in Berg en Dal, with start and finish at Camping De Groote Flierenberg (Zevenheuvelenweg 57). The event offers marked trail routes with varied terrain and notable elevation.

- 11 km
- 22 km
- 33 km
The organisation states approximate elevation gains of 150 m for 11 km, 300 m for 22 km and 400 m for 33 km. Routes are signposted, checked the morning of the event, and GPX files and route maps are sent to participants about one week before the event. Splits between distances are indicated with signs.
Aid stations (fourage) are on the course at fixed kilometres:
- 11 km trail: after 6.5 km (1)
- 22 km trail: after 6.5, 11 and 18 km (3)
- 33 km trail: after 6.5, 11, 20.5 and 29 km (4)
Practical details recorded by the organiser: maximum 1,000 participants, start groups of about 75-100 people, time limit enforced by a minimum average speed of 7.5 km/h, no dogs allowed, and a cupless event so participants must use their own cup or bidon. Parking is available at the camping site; a parking ticket can be ordered via the entry form.
Included with entry are the marked route, varied aid station food, a finisher’s medal (free for EarlyBird entries), a chocolate bar at the finish, a drink at the finish and electronic timing. Some revenue supports Staatsbosbeheer and Landgoed van Jurgens. Reusable timing chips are no longer used; returning an old chip gives a small discount if handled as instructed by the organiser.
