About the race
Deutsche Post Marathon Bonn is scheduled for 11 April 2027. The event offers several race formats including the marathon, half marathon, a 10 kilometer race, a relay, a corporate run and a school marathon. Registrations are reported at around 22,000 and new entries open in October. The marathon, half marathon and 10 km courses are measured by a licensed WA-AIMS/DLV course measurer and are therefore eligible for best lists.
The course starts at Koblenzer Tor and finishes at the Altes Rathaus. Refreshment stations are provided along the route. Results are ranked by net time. The top 20 in the overall and gender rankings are evaluated by gross time.
Age group results use net time, and winners are determined from the first start block. The event is conducted under the competition regulations of the German Athletics Association DLV and is overseen by the athletics federation.
