About the race
The Deutsche Post Marathon Bonn is scheduled for 11 April 2027 in Bonn. The event includes several race formats and records participation numbers. Start is at Koblenzer Tor and the finish is at the Altes Rathaus. Refreshment points are provided along the course. The event reported about 22,000 registrations and lists six disciplines.
Distances and formats:
- Marathon
- Half marathon
- 10 km
- Relay, company and school marathon events
The 10 km, half marathon and marathon courses are measured by a licensed WA-AIMS/DLV course measurer and are eligible for national ranking lists. Results are ranked by net time; the Top 20 overall and gender rankings use gross time, and age classes are ranked by net time. Winners are determined from the first start block. The competition follows the rules of the German Athletics Association (DLV) under the supervision of the athletics federation.
The organisers also emphasise inclusion: participation with a guide is possible and support for registration or special needs is offered. The 2027 course details will follow and registration is noted to open in October. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
