Demi-Marathon Opti-jeunesse de Farnham
The event is the 8th edition and takes place in late September at the Centre de la Nature de Farnham, 1400 rue Yamaska Est, Farnham QC. Courses run through rural and picturesque surroundings close to the town of Farnham.
Multiple distance options are offered:
- 1 km
- 3 km
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 21.1 km
Several distances include a cani course option that allows participation with a dog. Water stations for dogs are provided along the route. Each participant receives a participation medal. Additional medals are awarded to the first three finishers of the 5 km, 10 km, and 21.1 km events, and there is a medal for canine participants.
Volunteers are present along the course to support participant safety and well being. Photographs and results from past editions are available, and the event maintains partner relationships with local organizations.
Participant numbers were tracked for the 2026 edition: as of 14 September 2026 there were 237 registered participants across race and cani course categories, including entries in the 21.1 km, 10 km, 5 km, 3 km and 1 km distances. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
