Demi-Marathon des couleurs Promutuel de Bécancour : October 11, 2026
The event takes place at Parc écologique Godefroy in Bécancour and offers multiple race distances with chip timing and personalized bibs.
Distances offered:
- 21.1 km three waves by expected finish time, 16 years and over
- 10 km 12 years and over
- 5 km run and walk, 10 years and over
- 1 km children age categories
The half marathon is organized into three waves based on expected time (wave 1 under 1:55, wave 2 between 1:56 and 2:15, wave 3 2:16 and over). The 1 km race has separate starts by age group; children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult who does not need to be registered.
Included services and logistics: bib pickup at Club de golf Godefroy (Friday evening and Saturday morning) and at the park on race day, a Promutuel tent for personal items, kilometer markers, live online results, exhibitor kiosks and a free photo bank via the event Facebook page. On the 21.1 km course there are water stations about every 3.5 km, electrolyte drink, energy bars at specific kilometers and a post-race snack with bib presentation. Toilets are available on the 21.1 km and 10 km courses.
Key rules: bib must be worn on the front, dogs are not allowed on the course, runners with strollers start at the back, walkers allowed only in the 5 km, no participation without registration, and no refunds. Fees apply for changing distance or transferring a bib.
