About the race
The Demi-Marathon des couleurs Promutuel de Bécancour is scheduled for 2026-10-11 at Parc écologique Godefroy, 17105 boul. Bécancour, Bécancour, QC. The event offers multiple race distances with chip timing and on-course services. Distances: - 21.1 km wave 1: 1h55 and under (16 years and over) - 21.1 km wave 2: between 1h56 and 2h15 (16 years and over) - 21.1 km wave 3: 2h16 and over (16 years and over) - 10 km (12 years and over) - 5 km run and walk (10 years and over) - 1 km for ages 10 to 12 - 1 km for ages 7 to 9 - 1 km for ages 6 and under with parent accompanier accepted Registration may close by 2026-10-01 at midnight or earlier if the maximum number of participants is reached.
There will be two price increases before June; early registrants have increased chances to win event prizes. Bib and merchandise pickup: - Fri 2026-10-09 17:30 to 20:00 at Club de golf Godefroy (runner gift guaranteed) - Sat 2026-10-10 09:00 to 12:00 at Club de golf Godefroy (runner gift guaranteed) - Sun 2026-10-11 from 07:00 at Parc écologique Godefroy for bib-chip pickup only; arrive about one hour before your start, runner gift not guaranteed Rules and services include mandatory bib on the front, no dogs on course, strollers to start at the back, walkers allowed only in the 5 km, no bikes or skates, no participation without registration, and no refunds. Changes and transfers incur fees: change to a smaller distance $15, change to a larger distance $30, name transfer $15. Timing is by chip with personalized bibs and live online results.
All finishers receive a medal; top three men and women per distance receive awards. On the 21.1 km there are water stations with Xact electrolytes about every 3.5 km, energy bars near 10 km and 16 km, portable toilets on 10 km and 21.1 km, kilometer markers, a central tent for belongings, postrace snack with bib presentation, exhibitor kiosks and event merchandise. Free race photos are provided by the organizer.
