Demi-Marathon des couleurs Promutuel de Bécancour : 11 October 2026
The event takes place at Parc écologique Godefroy in Bécancour and includes road race distances for adults and children. Distances offered in 2026 are:
- 21.1 km waves by target finish time, participants 16 years and older
- 10 km
- 5 km course and walk, participants 10 years and older
- 1 km categories for several child age groups
Registration had reached its participation cap early in the previous year; entries will close no later than 1 October at midnight or earlier if the maximum number of runners is reached. Two price increases are scheduled before June; early registrants are more likely to be eligible for event prize draws.
Bib and merchandise pickup is at Club de golf Godefroy on the Friday and Saturday before the race, with a race day pickup location at the park. Timing is via chip with a personalized bib and live online results. All finishers receive a medal; the first three men and women in each distance receive podium medals.
Course support for the half marathon includes water and Xact electrolyte approximately every 3.5 km, energy bars near the 10th and 16th kilometres, toilets on the 21.1 km and 10 km courses, a postrace snack on presentation of the bib, kilometer markers, a Promutuel tent for personal effects, and on-site exhibitor kiosks.
