About the race
The Demi-Marathon des couleurs Promutuel de Bécancour is scheduled for 2026-10-11 at Parc écologique Godefroy de Bécancour. The event offers multiple distances, timed chip scoring with personalized bibs, on-course safety and kilometer markers, and results available online with a PDF certificate. Distances include half marathon, 10 km, 5 km and 1 km youth races. The 21.1 km has three start waves based on expected finish time and is open to participants aged 16 and older.
The 10 km is for ages 12 and older; the 5 km course and walk is for ages 10 and older. The 1 km runs are organized by age groups, with three separate starts and podiums for boys and girls in each category; children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult. Services and amenities include a finisher medal for all distances, medals for the top three men and women in each distance, drinking stations and Xact Electrolytes approximately every 3.5 km on the half marathon, Xact energy bars near 10 km and 16 km, toilets on the 21.1 km and 10 km courses, a post-race snack presented with bib, a large event tent for belongings and information, exhibitors and merchandise kiosks, and a free photo bank via the event Facebook page. Registration capacity reached early the previous year; registrations close no later than 2026-10-01 or sooner if the maximum field is reached. Two price increases are planned before June.
Changes of distance or name transfers carry fees. No refunds are offered. Bib pickup and merchandise sales occur on Oct 9 and 10 at Club de golf Godefroy, and bib-pickup only on race day at the park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
