Course and event details
The course begins in town and passes the Delta Cultural Center, then follows a brick levee walk overlooking the port of Helena before turning to gravel and heading out of town. The route moves into national forest with Crowley’s Ridge rising on the west and dense riverside woods and occasional cypress swamp to the east. The surface is described as softer, sandier Delta gravel suitable for running. Live music will be played during the day and food from local vendors will be served after the run. This is a cupless event; participants are recommended to bring their own bottle or hydration pack. Water jugs will be available on course.
