Event overview
Delirious WEST is an ultra running event on the Bibbulmun Track from Northcliffe to Albany, Western Australia. The event runs across 8–12 April 2026. Distances offered are:
- 100 miles (accumulated finish distance 168.97 km)
- 200 miles (accumulated finish distance 321.10 km)
Entry fees vary by release period. Example ranges shown are: 200 miler from $1,690 to $1,890; 100 miler from $699 to $799. Payment plan options are listed for both distances. Entries open 9 May 2025 and close 15 March 2026 (unless sold out). Total entry limit is 200 entrants; a wait list will be used if the event sells out. Runners must be at least 18 years old on race day.
Course, cutoffs and aid stations
The course runs stage by stage along the track between Northcliffe and Albany. Interactive maps and GPX files are provided; the GPX file must be carried on the Gaia Maps app during the event. Finish line cutoffs are given as total allowed hours for each distance (for example, 101 hours for the 200 miler and 64 hours for the 100 miler). Designated sleep station cutoffs are given in accumulated hours and include accumulated distances for each station.
There are 20 aid stations for the 200 miler and 10 for the 100 miler. Aid stations supply water, Tailwind, coke and a selection of sweet and savoury foods; menus vary by station. Drop bag and crew accessibility details are provided in the race manual and crew information.
Mandatory gear and support
The organiser requires specific mandatory gear. Key items include a GPX file on device, Bibbulmen Track maps or GAIA maps, mobile phone, minimum 1.5 litres water, bivvy bag, two headlamps with spare power, hi-vis vest, seam-sealed waterproof jacket (minimum 10,000 rating), thermal layers, a mini first aid kit, whistle, and specified batteries and tapes to hand in at check-in.
