Défi Vélo David Nadeau
Défi Vélo David Nadeau is a nonprofit event created to raise funds for cancer research and to assist local families through regional organizations. The activity includes bicycle routes through the surrounding area and a walking option on a local trail.
Three participation options are offered:
- 50 km
- 125 km
- 5 km walk Sentier des Mineurs
Fees depend on the registration date. Snacks are provided on the cycling routes; the 125 km option also includes lunch. The 5 km walk and electric bike participation are handled as voluntary contributions on site. Applicable taxes and online registration fees are added to published prices.
Marshals are present along the course and a mobile repair team is available, but participants are expected to rely primarily on their own autonomy in case of mechanical issues. On-site services include a water point, toilets, on-site registration, parking and chocolate milk. The event also includes a donations handover, a prize draw and musical entertainment later in the day.
