Défi Everest Orford 2026
La 7th edition of Défi Everest Orford takes place from 25 to 27 September 2026 at Mont Orford in Orford, Quebec, Canada. The event is a charity challenge that aims to raise 50 000 $ for AlterGo and the Fondation des sports adaptés.
Teams of hikers accompany people with functional limitations on ascents of Mont Orford using specialized equipment such as the Joëlette and the Trackz Mobilité hiking wheelchair. The collective objective is to complete at least 19 ascents per day, which corresponds to the elevation of Mount Everest.
Registration is offered for individuals and teams. Individual participants may join an existing team as a hiker or as a participant with a functional limitation; a separate registration is required for each ascent a person intends to complete. Team participation is organized with the event organizers and requires that each team member register individually. Fundraising requirements include a minimum goal of 100 $ for individual pages and 1 000 $ for team pages.
Two gift cards of 50 $ each from the Le Coureur shop will be drawn among participants who register before 25 August.
